Shocker... it's snowing again.
This is truly the winter that will never end. Here in the DC area we are not used to this much snow! Sometimes we will go an entire winter without seeing the white stuff. But this year it has been non-stop. Thankfully Tommy's school is still open today.
No wonder my family has been so sick for the last couple of months. We haven't had any fresh air in months! Between the four of us, it seems that someone is always sick. Ugh, I am sooo ready to spend sometime in the warm sunshine.

We got almost a foot of snow! On March 17th! The only reason I was glad it snowed that day is because my parents were in town from California. They were pretty excited to watch the snow fall and walk around our wooded backyard.
We had a wonderful visit with my parents. It was their first time seeing our new house and it made such a big difference having a guest bedroom for them.
Thankfully we had a couple of mild days during their visit. On Saturday we went down to the National Mall and visited a few museums.
It's always special to visit the Air and Space Museum with my dad because he was an Aerospace Engineer. He first worked on the Apollo program and then helped develop the Shuttle Program. When he retired he was the Chief Orbital Engineer of the Shuttle. I'm so proud of him!
For some reason, there were a couple of musicians from Nepal at the museum. They played a few songs and then invited all the kids to play the instruments as well. Tommy was in heaven! I think we need to get him some drums for his birthday.
Speaking of music, Tommy has been "performing" every day on our stage in the basement. We have been working on the playroom and my dear husband built a stage for the kids! They have been having so much fun singing and dancing.
