We are visiting my family and Tommy is having fun watching all the backyard construction.
I'm enjoying some downtime with my family, but missing my hubby. We will be back in time for the Triduum and Easter.
Things have been crazy busy at home and it probably won't slow down until my show is over.
I'm anticipating holy week and hoping to make it meaningful. Sorry for the short, random post from my phone!

Happy Feast of St. Joseph!

I know that I'm a day late... I tried so hard to get online yesterday and I just never got on the computer.
That being said, I prayed a novena to St. Joseph leading up to his feast day yesterday - and I will continue to ask for his intercession. I prayed for my husband, my son (Thomas JOSEPH!) and for my prayer buddy.
St. Joseph, guardian of the Word Incarnate, pray for us.

Around Here
We've spent the past week trying to recover from being sick. I've tried to focus on Tommy getting lots of sleep (he still takes two naps a day and yes, he will be two in May!!) And we've been playing outside as much as possible since the weather has been summer-like. I'm also trying to catch up on all the things that went undone last week - stuff for school, house work, chores, errands, etc.
80 degree day = popsicle!

On Thursday we got together with some friends and the kids played in their awesome backyard. It felt like summer!

After his long-overdue haircut

Yesterday we went to the park and it was so lovely, despite being super crowded.

Feeling Better
Thankfully Tommy is on the mend and we are getting back into the swing of things over here. Unfortunately he still had trouble sleeping last night, but hopefully tonight will be better. The weather here is gorgeous, so I'm hoping to spend a lot of time outside this week!

What Day Is It?
The past week has been a blur. Over the last seven days our little family of three has dealt with vomiting, diarrhea, high fever, cold, cough, congestion, and pink eye. And to top it off I've been on my period. Oh joy. What a mess around here! I hope and pray that we are turning a corner. Tommy has had it the worst and as you can imagine that means none of us are sleeping well.
I've spent a lot of time sitting on the couch or the rocking chair with Tommy and took a lot pictures with my phone. He loves to see himself on the screen.
(Side note: I can't seem to use Blogger on my iphone without the pictures getting distorted - they are too big on my blog. Any advice?)
Pink eye - yuck!

This is not a face we see very often.

Feeling sick.

Being silly.

He thinks it's hilarious when I make this face. All things considered he's been a pretty happy little guy.
